Creative Sewing Mixed Ability (5 weeks) – £55

Are you inspired by Kirsty Allsop and the shabby chic art of sewing?  If yes, then this creative and friendly course is the one for you. All abilities are catered for. You can learn how to make household items such as a cushion, a decorative bag, a doorstop or a fabric picture with a creative twist.  You will also learn to make the most of your sewing machine.  If you do not have a sewing machine one can be provided.

Jewellery Making (5 weeks) – £55

  • Thursday Thursday 19th January 2017 1900-2100

In this class you will learn how to craft a piece of metal jewellery.  You will be able to design and make an item of your choice such as a necklace, brooch, ring or earrings.  As your skills progress there will be opportunities to make more difficult pieces and even silver jewellery.  Some materials are included.

Art for Enjoyment (9 weeks) - £81

  • Thursday 19th January 2017 1900-2100

This course will take students through the basics of drawing using the elements of Art and the work of artists to structure delivery.  You will look at elements of line, tone, shape, form, perspective and learn how to use these well, using the media of pencil – as well as colour. You will be encouraged to work at an individual pace and level and above all to enjoy being part of an artistic group!

Digital Photography (9 weeks) £81

  • Wednesday 18th January 2017 1900-2100

Learn the art of digital photography on this fun and friendly course. Your tutor will guide you through the history of photography from the earliest inventions right up to the latest technology. Practical, hands-on photography sessions will be combined with digital imaging and manipulation skills with Photoshop. Subjects covered will include portraiture, still-life/studio photography, abstract photography and image restoration.
