Pastoral care

At Abbey College ‘Every Child Matters’. We pride ourselves on high standards of pastoral care, where each student is treated as an individual, and supported to achieve the highest standards of which they are capable. Every student is allocated to a Commit group of no more than 22 students, each with a Mentor and Co-Mentor, who is responsible for offering individual support and guidance to each student in their care. Students meet with their Mentor for morning session each day and have assemblies on a weekly basis. A Head of House will have oversight of the welfare and achievement of the House group and will lead the students as they progress through the College.
